Two Levels of Cover - Churchill operate a two-tier pet insurance policy – the low cost Pet Emergency policy and the standard level Pet Insurance policy.
Vet Fees - Churchill pet insurance can provide vet fees, of up to £1,500 for the Pet Emergency policy, or £3,000 for the Pet Insurance policy, which also covers for accidental injury and £500 for emergency treatment for an illness. This includes 12 months of cover from the first date of treatment.
Manageable Instalments - You can pay monthly at no extra cost with fee arrangements to suit the policy owner.
Other Treatment - Churchill pet insurance will pay for all reasonable charges made for treatment carried out by a vet, with each condition covered for 12 months following the start of its treatment. This excludes vaccinations, de-fleaing, etc.
Assistance Abroad - This includes overseas travel for certain countries, including quarantine costs, loss of a pet’s passport and loss of the pet abroad.
Help Lines - Churchill provide the unlimited use of three help lines, including an all-important ‘Find a Vet’ line in the event of an emergency. This also includes an understanding and confidential bereavement counselling service, as well as a friendly and informed legal advice service that specialises in pets.

Churchill also offers an automatic renewal option, where policy owners can take comfort in the knowledge that their insurance will continue indefinitely, unless they choose to advise the company otherwise.
Additional comprehensive insurance cover is available, which includes up to £3,000 vets fees for illness or injury, as well as a bereavement and legal advice line that comes as standard.
Up to £500 of your pet’s purchase price can be claimed if it dies as the cause of an accident, or if it remains missing for more than 45 days.
You can claim up to £3,000 for costs if you are unable to return home while on holiday or are forced to cut a holiday short, due to your pet requiring emergency life-saving surgery within seven days of a scheduled departure.
It’s possible to claim up to £750 if you are hospitalised for four days or more and require a safe place for your pet to stay until you return home.
Policy-holders can claim up to £1,000 for advertising or rewards if a pet is stolen or becomes lost, which includes the cost of getting your pet home.
Up to £1 million third party liability cover can be claimed for compensation or costs required by law, should your pet cause damage to property or injure a person.
Making a claim
To make a claim, policy holders should call Churchill with details of any claim before any costs have arisen.If this is not possible you should contact Churchill after the first consultation.

Churchill can even settle bills directly with the vet if this is agreeable to the policy-holder and to the veterinary practice.
